about this product.

CBC (cannabichromene) distillate is for formulators working with the full hemp compound roster. It’s non-intoxicating, hemp-derived, and one of the less common major cannabinoids — which makes it useful for product differentiation and multi-cannabinoid blending.

Use in blended tinctures alongside CBD or CBG for a broader compound profile. Topical formulations and skincare where CBC’s properties are under active research interest. Oil-based capsules and sublingual blends. CBC is rarely the lead compound, but it’s a credible supporting ingredient in any full-spectrum or multi-cannabinoid wellness product.

For a broader baseline hemp oil, see our Full Spectrum CBD Distillate. Use CBC distillate to add compound complexity to your existing formula.

frequently asked questions.

What is CBC and why use it in formulations?
CBC (cannabichromene) is a non-intoxicating hemp-derived cannabinoid. It's not as well-known as CBD or CBG, but it's gaining interest in topical and blended formulations as a supporting compound. If you're building a multi-cannabinoid product, CBC adds compound complexity and differentiation.
Is CBC better as an isolate or distillate?
CBC is typically available in distillate form — pure CBC isolate is rare and expensive at commercial scale. Distillate is the standard format for formulators adding CBC to tinctures, topicals, or blended oils.
Isolate vs distillate — which should I use for CBC?
Distillate is the practical choice for CBC — it's the available commercial format. Use it as a supporting ingredient alongside CBD or CBG distillate in multi-cannabinoid blends.
What's the difference between a distillate and an isolate?
Distillate retains the broad or full-spectrum cannabinoid profile from the hemp plant — minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and related compounds. Isolate strips everything down to a single pure cannabinoid. Distillate is the backbone of vape products, tinctures, and anything where a richer cannabinoid experience matters.
What products can I make with distillate?
Vape cartridges, disposable vapes, tinctures, sublingual oils, oil-based softgels, and infused topicals. Distillate is oil-based and viscous, making it the standard ingredient for inhalable and oil-matrix products.
Do I need to add terpenes to distillate?
For vape products, yes — terpenes improve viscosity and add flavor. Our raw distillates are unflavored. Our premixed options come with terpenes already blended at working ratios and are ready to fill directly into cartridges.

    High (no pun intended) Quality

At 99.3% CBC I could not ask for a more pure distillate. It is a great, rich color, denoting it’s quality.

It is a very nice viscosity at room temperature, flows easily but is not too runny, very easy to work with. So far I have used it in a topical cream for a dislocated ankle, and in some brownies for some medicinal patients of mine. Still testing, but definitely seems to aid in effect for pain relief and relaxation.

    Gorgeous distillate

I love the quality of this beautiful CBC distillate and have really enjoyed mixing it with my CBD distillate or isolate. I find this distillate mixed with CBD isolate provides a nice calming effect without being too much. It has a more liquid consistency than the CBD distillate, making it super easy to measure out.

    CBC Review

I recieved a 5g sample of 95% purity. Wish the isolate was more purer and wish more information was provided regarding lot traceability and lab results showing if the product poses any toxicity risks. Most of Denex products dont have lab results and require the buyer to conduct these tests but wish they could do this step themselves. Otherwise, really likeing this product and the CBG distillate I purchase.
